# Notifications

> Set up push notifications for turn reminders

# Notifications

Stay updated with push notifications on your mobile device.

## Enable notifications

### iOS

1. Open the Turnsies app
2. When prompted, tap **Allow** for notifications
3. Or go to **Settings** → **Turnsies** → **Notifications**
4. Enable **Allow Notifications**

### Android

1. Open the Turnsies app
2. When prompted, tap **Allow** for notifications
3. Or go to **Settings** → **Apps** → **Turnsies** → **Notifications**
4. Enable notifications

## Notification types

You'll receive notifications for:

* **Turn reminders**: When it's your turn
* **Invitations**: When someone invites you to an activity
* **Activity updates**: When someone completes a turn

## Configure notifications

In the Turnsies app:

1. Go to **Settings** → **Notifications**
2. Toggle notification types on or off
3. Set quiet hours (optional)

## Troubleshooting

### Not receiving notifications

1. Check that notifications are enabled in device settings
2. Ensure the app has internet connection
3. Check that you're signed in
4. Try signing out and back in

### Too many notifications

1. Go to **Settings** → **Notifications**
2. Disable specific notification types
3. Or set quiet hours
